The Details

In order to make your portrait session a fabulous experience, I will walk with you every step of the way.

DATE AND LOCATION: The first thing that will happen is that we will pick a date and location for your session. As fall approaches, it’s best to get on my schedule early to have the best choices for dates! I shoot on location and always prefer natural light! You may already have a location in mind, and that is great! If not, we can discuss some of the locations that I love to determine what best fits your needs and style.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SESSION: Once we schedule a date for your session, I will send you a link to my Client Welcome Guide. In this guide, you will find a wealth of information on planning your wardrobe and choosing a location, as well as detailed pricing information. I know the process can be daunting, but I am here for you every step of the way. Some clients even send me texts with pictures of different clothing choices and I help them narrow down.

DURING YOUR SESSION: My Family sessions are about 1 hour and Seniors are up to 2 hours of shooting time. We will explore various areas at your session’s location; you will be sitting, standing, laying down, and maybe even running and jumping! We will try to incorporate some fun for all involved! When we are done, we will set a date for your Reveal night, which will be about two weeks after your session.

YOUR REVEAL APPOINTMENT!: This is an experience that my clients and I really enjoy! I will come to your house with a special sweet treat just for you and show you a slideshow of your pictures. After the slideshow, we will go through your images, and I will help you with narrowing down your favorites. I will have sample products for you to see and touch, and you will have special Reveal pricing for placing your order that night. Are you unsure of what sizes to order and where to hang them? I can assist you with that, too! About 2-3 weeks after your Reveal Appointment I will hand deliver your beautiful new artwork, albums, and gifts.
